This lo is for the July week one challenge on UKS, title had to refer to summer, have a summer theme to the lo, have 2 photos, some ribbon and secret journalling. The photos were taken at the weekend when we went on a picnic with ds and family, the journalling is under the file folder!

This photo of dh and the girls was taken on Father's Day this year. I had deserted them all to go to a 365 weekend, so they organised a bbq for him!

Two more lo's for big sis's album!

Here is a lo I did in a class with Karen from Total Papercrafts on the 365 weekend! I love how it is so busy but the photos really stand out!

Here is a mini tag book which I made on the 365 weekend retreat. It is made from one sheet of double sided heavyweigh paper, folded to make pockets to hold tags etc! each tag contains a message from each lady at the weekend! Lovely keepsake!

Thank you to Barbara for helping us to make these!

A friend's dgd, isn't she cute?

A friend, with the best sort of baby, doesn't cry, need feeding or nappies!

One more of sisters dgc!

This lo was done for the week 2 challenge on UKS, had to follow a sketch, use three different techniques and patterned papers, and include a number in the title. The photos show some brilliant grafitti along a footpath, and the artists seem to change the subject every few months!

More pics of my sisters dgc for her album!

A little boy, pleased to wear glasses!

June week 1 challenge on UKS. We had a sketch to follow, something handmade use acetate, so I made the acetate flowers and coloured them in, and use some ric rac. Photos show dd1 having had her new hairstyle from the training stylists at an Aveda salon, was a great change from her old style of just hanging long hair!

More piccies from my sister of her dgc in Oz. Here they are on holiday in Fiji, which is where their dad comes from so they stay with relatives, a bit of a change to their civilised lifestyle in Sydney!

Still doing the 52Q challenge, and loving it!

Tag 22, Which direction am I going? Somedays it feels like round and round in circles!

Tag 21, What would I do with a completely free day? Difficult one as most of my days are my own to do as I please!

SLYMI week 17, had to scrap in layers and use some lace! The photo shows Resusci-Annie having a well earned rest from demonstrations by St Johns in Woking town centre, she just looked so odd sitting propped up against the flower tub!

This photo is a few years old and shows dd2's beloved lop eared dwarf rabbit, having a picnic with some of her cuddly toys!

Another lo of dgs2, showing his delight on being let loose from the pushchair to enjoy the park!

Friday, 24 April 2009

April week 3 challenge on UKS. Had to use tartan or checks, heather colours, use a line of part of a line from the saying about magpies, one for sorrow etc, I chose two for joy, and use the number of embellies in your chosen line.

Photo is again dd1, being the ever willing model for my photographic efforts!

Playing around with my new Nesties die to make flower embellies! Photo of dd1's friends daughter.

Scrap like you mean it week 16, scrapped in the morning! Photo of dd1 with Christmas lights in Winchester last year!

Wednesday, 15 April 2009

And here is lo 15 for SLYMI challenge, had to scrap "on the edge" Photo is a friend of dd1 which was taken for a promotional brochure for her work!

Tags 13, 14 & 15 for the 52Q challenge, really enjoying doing these!

Sunday, 5 April 2009

Week 14 for SLYMI challenge, to scrap something hidden! This grafitti is well hidden on the underside of a bridge along a footpath not many people use. Last time we walked there the theme was pirates but it was obviously painted over with a Christmas theme! This is one of the best, I think it is brilliant and a shame more people won't see it! I have also hidden the journalling on a pull out tag under the photo!

Week 13 of Scrap Like You Mean It, to use stamping! So I stamped the title letters and cut them out, and used a stamp for the journalling tag, and stamped the sheep along the bottom! The photo is of my sister, being dwarfed by the giant statue of a sheep shearer, but I don't know where in Australia this was taken, must find out!

Friday, 3 April 2009

This week's challenge on UKS was to use any new stash, notes or journalling, glitter or glitz, lace, sewing and embellishments! That was quite a challenge but I managed it with this old photo of my Mum!

Thursday, 2 April 2009

Latest photos of my sister's dgc in Australia, just had to scrap them!

Another photo of the canal taken last autumn, but it is a different place this time!
