Poor Neglected Blog

As said, poor neglected blog! I have been crafting but just too lazy to upload!
The first is my lo for September Week 2 challenge on UKS, showing Dgs3 meeting Dave, the giant rabbit at the garden centre!
The second lo is for the Monthly challenge on UKS, using a sketch provided. Photos show the delicious lunch we had, sitting on the lawns at Wisley a few weeks ago!

AUGUST WEEK ONE CHALLENGE UKS

Once again my mojo had gone missing, but I made myself do this week's challenge on UKS as it was set by the Tag-a-Longs team! Had to use a sketch, 4 or more scraps of different paper and something recycled. Doing this digitally made the recycling element difficult so I hope the torn cardboard with corrugated centre will count!
Maybe now my mojo will stay with me!

 I have sadly neglected to upload any of my projects to this blog, but here are my attempts at Tim Holtz Tags of 2012. I do not have all the things he uses so have made substitutes.

This is February, no cupid so used a bird! My attempts at picking out the embossing, where I used music, wasn't too succesful!

February Week 2 Challenge UKS

This week every lo for the weekly challenge will raise money for Autism. We had to use black and red, stamping and a sense of movement. Photo is dgs2 in his own little world, having fun!

UKS February Week One Challenge

This week's challenge was to have photos of a woman or women, an achievement and some sewing. My photo is of my dd1 who has had a lot thrown at her in life but always bounces back, that to me is an achievement. I am very proud of her! In this photo she is doing something she would have thought impossible a short while ago!

January Week 5 UKS Challenge

This week's challenge had a sketch to follow with 5 blocks across the page, use journalling and some new stash! Another digi lo of a cheeky little robin who just sat there and posed for the camera!

UKS Week 4 challenge

This week's challenge was to use turquoise and purple, scrap myself and use butterflies or change. Scrapping photos of myself is not something I do very often!

So we had to have another messy lo from our retreat. This one shows Lynne, who doesn't do messy, playing around with the inks!
Again using the same kit from Dawn Inskip and a digi lo.

Inky Messy Fingers

Browsing through my digi kits I spotted this background paper by Dawn Inskip and knew I had the perfect photo to go on it, and so evolved this lo. See, inky messy fingers can be art!

January Week 3 Challenge UKS

My lo for this week's challenge on UKS. We were given a sketch, had to use shades of one colour and have a one word title. I've managed all that!

December Week 2 UKS challenge

 Use the sketch provided, 2 photos and scraps! This lo is digi, and I have used photos taken by my ds when he was on holiday.

My niece in Australia sent me this photo of her children, all ready for Christmas, so I had to scrap it! The material advent calendar in the background was made by my sister for her school and has found it's way around the world!

UKS Challenge November Week 3

This week we were challenged to use a greeting as our title, use old papers and either stamp with found items or use a dingbat font. My lo is done digi with one of the first kits I downloaded about 4 years ago and the photo shows dgs4. The owl is the dingbat font.

UKS Challenge November Week 2

I think I have covered all that was asked for in this week's challenge, autumnal colours, different size or shape of photo, bugs, in the photo, and paint, on the background. I will confess the photo was taken by dh on one of our walks! I have used one of Dawn Inskip's lovely collections to make this lo.
